Day 1 Hobart to the Freycinet Peninsula
Depart Hobart for the Freycinet Peninsula, where on arrival in Coles Bay you’ll board the Naturaliste for a spectacular sea cruise along the western length of the peninsula. After a picnic lunch and swim, you can choose the short but steep walk up Bear Hill or fish for flat head with the coxswain.
After a picnic lunch you can choose whether to make the short but steep climb up Bear Hill for wonderful views over the Freycinet Peninsula, or fish for flathead in Schouten Passage. Return to Coles Bay by boat then transfer to Friendly Beaches Lodge for the evening.
Day 2 Bryan’s Beach and Wineglass Bay
After a boat transfer you can choose between two walks. The first heads from Bryan’s Beach through sclerophyll forests to Wineglass Bay. The second climbs from Cooks Beach to the top of Mt Graham for stunning views of the Hazard mountains before descending to Wine Glass Bay via Quartzite Ridge. Both groups will meet at Wineglass Bay for a swim and walk to the lookout before returning to the lodge.

Day 3 Bluestone Bay to Friendly Beaches
Today’s walk starts at Bluestone Bay, explore the geology of White Water Wall before climbing the cliff tops. Follow an ancient and private track through sacred bushland back towards the lodge, across the white sands of Friendly Beaches. Cool drinks and afternoon tea await your arrival.
Rise early and take coffee on the beach or just relax. After breakfast there’s an optional walk to Salt Water Lagoon, home to countless wild black swans and pelicans. Enjoy a celebratory brunch and a final walk along Friendly Beaches before transferring back to Hobart
